Setting up

Set it on a bench with clear air around the cooling vents and plug in. Run it empty at temperature once before the first bake.

Two decks, two dials, no waiting.

A pizza oven that lets you bake two different things at two different temperatures at the same time, on a bench, from a plug.

Four knobs on the front set temperature from 50 to 350 °C and time up to two hours, so you can run one deck flat out for pizza and the other gentler for garlic bread. Three heating tubes spread the heat through the chamber. The four knobs are all there is to learn.

The body is stainless steel with a non-stick lining, so the inside wipes clean and the outside looks like the rest of the kitchen. Large cooling holes shed heat, and the door handle is cool-touch.

Goes with.

What this usually leaves the warehouse with.

A stone in every deck.

The base of a pizza cooks from the stone, not the air. A pizza stone is supplied, and it holds heat between bakes so the underside comes out crisp and blistered instead of pale. The non-stick interior wipes clean.

Set it and go and serve.

Turn the temperature dial for the deck you are using, turn the timer, and it heats. There is no menu and no programming. A new starter can be trusted with it on their first shift, which in a busy kitchen matters more than a touchscreen.

  • Four knobs for temperature and time
  • Timer runs to two hours
  • Cool-touch door handle

Pizza first, then everything else.

At 350 °C it does a thin base in a few minutes. Turned down, the same oven does pies, pretzels, bread rolls, jacket potatoes, wings on a tray and a sheet of biscuits. For a cafe that wants to add a pizza menu without a gas line, or a food truck that needs a second oven on a bench, this is the size that fits.

  • Cafes, snack bars and food trucks
  • Bakeries that want a second small oven
  • Home kitchens with a proper pizza habit

How hot, how long.

Each deck is set on its own. Figures are the oven's range; a thin base wants the top of it, a pie the middle.

Questions we get asked

Can both decks run at the same time?

Yes. There are four knobs, two for temperature and two for time, so the decks can be set differently, one for pizza and one for bread.

What size pizza fits?

Up to 16 inches, about 400 mm across, on each stone. Two 12 inch pizzas will not fit side by side on one deck; use both decks instead.

Does it need gas or a special outlet?

No gas. It is electric. Give it its own power point rather than sharing a board with a fryer or a kettle, and leave clear air around the cooling holes.

How do I clean the stones?

Let them cool, then scrape and brush them dry. Do not wash them; a stone that has taken on water will crack when it heats. The non-stick interior wipes out with a damp cloth once the oven is cold.

How long does it take to heat up?

Allow time for the stone to come up to temperature before the first pizza. Between pizzas the stone holds its heat, so the second bake is faster than the first.
